Privacy Policy
This policy explains what RallyCatch collects, why, and what you can do about it. RallyCatch is
operated for the RallyCatch app (com.rallylove.app on iOS,
com.rallycatch.app on Android).
1. What we collect
- Account: Apple or Google identifier, and the email those providers share with us.
- Profile: name, birth date, gender, player preferences, sports and levels, when you usually play, photos, prompts, bio, height, city.
- Location: one stored point, used to show nearby Rallies and players by distance. Venues you pick for a Rally, and locations you choose to share in a Rally chat.
- Activity: Rallies you host or join, Catches, messages, reports and blocks.
- Device: an install id used so an invite reward cannot be farmed from one phone, plus optional push tokens.
2. Why we use it
To run the product: sign you in, show nearby Rallies and players, run Rally and direct chats, enforce the daily Catch limit and invite bonuses, moderate photos, and keep the service safe. Venue search sends what you type to a maps provider (Google Places) to find the place. We do not sell your profile to advertisers.
3. Who sees what
Other users see your public profile (photos, sports, prompts, age, distance). They never see your exact coordinates, email, or your player preferences. Anyone with a Rally link sees the sport, time, venue name and the host's first name, never your profile. Moderators see reports and the photos in the review queue.
4. Photos
Photos are stored in object storage so the app can show them. They stay in a pending state until a moderator approves them. Rejected photos are never shown to other members.
5. How long we keep it
While your account is open. After you delete it we anonymise the profile and close your chats. Some safety records (bans, reports) may be kept longer so a closed account cannot immediately come back.
6. Your choices
You can edit your profile, turn location off, block people, and delete the account from the You tab. For a copy of your data or another request, email [email protected].
7. Children
RallyCatch is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
